All work we ever do is a collaboration
When we reach an impasse at any time it can be helpful to step away, to create space and allow solutions, feelings to appear. Any activity we can accomplish on autopilot can support. At times physical movement can spur ideas to move to. Pulled into the details of the city‘s architecture, the balconies, beach days the facades, and the bustling streets and life itself. One no longer understands the words and conversations, which frees the mind from thinking and encourages a deeper engagement with feeling and observation: sounds or visual cues, smells, tastes. A space so free of the normal overpacked conditions allows to accept new information with delight. It’s a way of perceiving. A practice of paying attention. Life is happening around us. Likewise nothing begins with us. The more we pay attention, the more we realize that all work we ever do is a collaboration. With the world we live in, the experience we‘ve had, the tools we use, and who we are. We perceive something in the seemingly mundane and share in a way that allows others a glimpse of what we see in our very own way. The work is always a translation.
